Wolffkran at bauma 2025 – Innovation meets trust

A WOLFF is more than just a machine – it is a reliable partner on the construction site. And because trust is the foundation of every successful partnership, WOLFFKRAN presented numerous new WOLFF cranes at this year’s bauma under the motto “In WOLFF we trust.”

From 7 to 13 April 2025, over 3,600 exhibitors from 57 countries showcased their latest machines, technologies, and innovations across 614,000 square meters of exhibition space. Around 600,000 visitors from more than 200 countries and regions gathered at the Munich exhibition grounds to experience the world's leading trade fair for construction machinery. Visitor numbers were up by 20% compared to 2022.

This year, WOLFFKRAN presented an impressive number of 5 cranes:

· WOLFF 7021 Clear - an assembly champion with strong performance

· WOLFF 8038 Clear - a new 560 mt class flat top tower crane, the largest flat top crane in the portfolio to date

· WOLFF 8095 Compact - the first WOLFF trolley jib crane in the 900 mt class

· WOLFF 6025 Clear - a concept crane from WOLFFKRAN in the 200 mt class

· WOLFF 550 B - a powerful new luffing jib crane and the first crane showcased with two cabins. The idea behind it was to present the flexibility of the WOLFF Flex Cab solution. The Flex Cab cabin can be mounted either on the right or left side of the crane.

Our other highlights at bauma 2025 were:

· WOLFFF High Speed Positioning System - an advanced assistance system reliably eliminating pendulum movements

· WOLFF Assist - a hands-free support system using smart glasses

Both technologies were presented at bauma for the second time.

“We presented WOLFF HiSPS again at bauma this year, because HiSPS has been further developed since 2022. The sensors and software have been improved, and there are new display options directly on the crane control screen.” explains Viktor Mosolf, Head of the Digitalization Department at Wolffkran.

Three new technologies celebrated their world premiere at bauma 2025:

· WOLFF Intuitive Control - an intuitive control system that, for the first time, shifts the focus from crane movement to load movement

· WOLFF Crane Control System and WOLFF Cam - new control technology for maximum user-friendliness

“Visitors at bauma had the opportunity to try out new WOLFF Intuitive Control virtually: Using a VR headset and two joysticks, they could operate a WOLFF crane from the ground in a virtual environment. It felt like in a computer game but gave a real feeling at the same time” – shares Dr.-Ing. Mohamed Abouelezz, Head of Business Development and Product Management at WOLFFFKRAN.

Innovative WOLFF Onsite solutions and fiber rope on display

Among other exhibits WOLFF Onsite joint with their wide range of accessories and equipment (Peak Power 200, AMPD Enertainer, Vita Load Navigator) and rope experts TROWIS with their chaRope®.
