WOLFFKRAN supplied Wates with an 83.2m-height WOLFF 100 B tower crane for this project. Using a BT29 tower base, the crane was freestanding, forming the core to its full height. The undoubted advantage of the freestanding crane is that it saves time and money for the project, as no building connections are required.
After the core reached full height, the crane erected another WOLFF 100 B on the top of the development. The new WOLFF, measuring only 8.6m in height, dismantled the 83.2m tall crane and will remain on the project for around 29 weeks.
Upon completion, the WOLFF 100 B will be removed from the roof with a 500t mobile crane with an additional fly jib.
