WOLFFKRAN looks back on a successful trade show with good meetings, valuable new contacts and many inspirations. Under the motto "WOLFFKRAN is Family", we welcomed visitors from around the world at our booth with a record number of exhibits and many highlights.
Bauma in figures
While not matching the 2019 numbers, bauma once again proved itself the center of the construction machinery industry, attracting some 495,000 visitors from over 200 nations and 3,200 exhibitors from 60 countries. WOLFFKRAN convinced the global audience with an impressive presentation of crane technology and – as always – stood out with its iconic pavilion of red steel and glass.
Five WOLFFs on 1152 m2
WOLFFKRAN exhibited not three, not four, but five cranes at bauma 2022 - our trade show record to date. Among them were the WOLFF 8076 Compact launched last year, our latest WOLFF 235 B luffing jib crane, the two new flattop cranes WOLFF 6021 FX and 7021 FX, and the popular WOLFF 7534 Clear. By the way, the latter was our assembly crane for erecting and dismantling the pavilion and all other cranes. As such, it was also the first crane erected on site in early September and the last that was dismantled end of November.

More than just red steel
Yet visitors to the booth encountered so much more than just an impressive amount of red steel. The three daily live demonstrations of the new WOLFF High-Speed-Positioning-System, which automatically reduces load sway to almost zero in a matter of seconds, consistently drew a crowd and provided plenty to talk about. The new chaRope – the only fiber rope on the market that replaces a steel rope 1:1 – also attracted many industry professionals and the media. It was presented on the WOLFF 6021 FX and expertly explained by representatives of the rope specialist TROWIS. Last but not least, not few visitors used the opportunity to try out the new Smart Glasses with the WOLFF Assist service app, bringing remote expert service to the crane on the construction site whenever it is needed.
More true than ever: After bauma is before bauma
Returning to the customary date in spring, the next bauma will take place from April 7-13, 2025, which is no more than two and half years away.
